” SPACE PORT – ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES”

This was inspired by one of my favorite scifi movies “NATURAL CITY”. I love oriental cinema and this movie in particular has a spaceport romantic scene that I love so the whole feel for my pic came from that bit.
I could have spent easily about 10 or 20 more hours on this just zooming in every detail and refining it to a point this would look almost photo realistic. Its easy for me to do that, but I don´t have time for creating “completed” paintings no more because I have commissions to do for other type of projects; usually children book stuff away from this type of art that I love.
Since I left Photoshop for good and started to paint witg Clip Studio Paint I actually like the way the brushes can give a more traditional feel to a paint rigth away and so I left this image in a rough phase because I like the “painting” feel where we see all the bush strokes and all that.
