Sometimes an illustration just seems to come out of nowhere and it becomes an incredible creative experience where everything does seems to work at the first try. It happened to me right now with this new painting I did just to practice for another commissioned work. It was one of those images I just had to put it to canvas and so I did.
You might think this one was inspired by Blade Runner, but actually it was not. Blade Runner is just one of my favorite universes and so its always present in one way or another on my sci-fi pics.
This painting I call it "Kissing in the Rain" and it was inspired by the movier "Streets of Fire" by Walter Hill one of my all time favorite movies (and soundtracks (love Jim Steinman songs).
It was inspired by the romantic scene in the rain and it was something that I always wanted to create for sometime.
