Finding Xan-Gri-La

End result of something that started as a live demo tutorial of mine the other day. Created out of the blue just because. I rarely do snow pics but somehow this started to get some Tibet vibe and I just kept going. And yes, towers and spikes...but I love to paint those so I had to include some "buildings" like that. The idea was to capture something like a scene from an adventure movie like those back in the 70s...and at a later stage I got inspired by the type of light we tend to see on works like Dinotopia too.
